Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen half-time player ratings as ONE midfielder IMPRESSES
Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen's clash remains goalless at half-time in their UEFA Champions League clash at Anfield.
Here are our half-time player ratings:
Caoimhin Kelleher - 6/10
Hasn't had loads to do, making one very simple save in the first half.
Trent Alexander-Arnold - 6/10
Defended well, but not offered loads going forwards. Combined well with Ryan Gravenberch as times to hold Bayer Leverkusen at bay. He took a freekick from a dangerous position in the 36th minute but it was deflected off the wall for a corner.
Ibrahima Konate - 6/10
Konate seems to have bounced back well from the injury he suffered against Brighton. He defended solidly, often covering for Trent at right-back.
Virgil van Dijk - 7/10
A vintage Van Dijk fist half, with some solid defending and a long pass over the top to Mo Salah.
Kostas Tsimikas - 6.5/10
Tsimikas has looked decent in the first half, he hasn't had much to do defensively but has kept Frimpong quiet so far, bar a close call when a Frimpong goal was ruled out for a clear handball after the Leverkusen player beat Tsimikas.

Ryan Gravenberch - 8/10
Gravenberch did, once again, what he's done for the Reds all season, winning the ball a number of times and helping Liverpool progress up the pitch, whilst also offering support to his backline.
Alex Mac Allister - 5/10
Struggled to make a meaningful impact on the game early on, Slot will be looking for a better performance from Mac Allister in the second half.
Curtis Jones - 7/10
Full of energy and constantly ready to press, Jones had a promising first-half which he will be looking to replicate after the break.
Mohamed Salah - 6/10
Looked sharp from the very first whistle, Liverpool struggled to produce many meaningful chances in the first half but Salah will definitely be looking to get his name on the scoresheet in the second half.
Cody Gakpo - 6/10
Gakpo, much like the rest of Liverpool's front line, had a quiet first 45 minutes, there haven't been many chances for the Dutchman but he did fire one right at the Leverkusen keeper just before half time. He will be hoping for a better display moving forward.
Luis Diaz - 6/10
Diaz hasn't done anything wrong, and he did well to win Liverpool a freekick in a dangerous area in the 34th minute, but he has also been quiet so far. The Colombian is also in danger of being booked if he makes any more fouls.
