Four things missed in Liverpool vs Aston Villa including MASSIVE FSG message
Liverpool had a golden opportunity on Saturday evening to open a massive gap between them and Manchester City.
After Guardiola's side suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions, Liverpool were eager to take advantage.
This was obvious from the beginning of the match with the Reds taking control and surging up the field from kick off.
In the end it was a brilliant finish from Darwin Nunez that helped Slot's side take the lead after Mohamed Salah was clearly pulled down by Leon Bailey in the build up to the goal as the Reds surged forward during a devastating counter attack.
Salah then rounded off the victory from another devastating counter showing off his speed yet again.

Ridiculous David Coote decision
Coote is not a popular figure among Liverpool fans and he will not have endeared himself to the club's supporters with his latest decision.
When Salah was blatantly brought down during the counter attack in the build up to Liverpool goal, Coote waved play on.
The incident would have likely have been brought to VAR but in the end Nunez finished and the Reds had nothing to worry about.
Though in retrospect the fact that Coote didn't even award advantage and didn't deem the foul on Salah as a foul is a little bit concerning.
Thankfully, the Reds got away with it.
Salah breaking another record
Another day, another record broken by Salah. He's in the best form of his life and just gets better and better week in week out.
He seems to age like Benjamin Button and this was on show on Saturday evening as well with Salah showcasing electrifying speed to break away in the counter for Liverpool's goals in this game.
His assist is his 10th in all competitions this season, which is the earlier any Liverpool player has reached double figures for assists in all competitions during the last 40 seasons.
Previously, the record was held by John Barnes, who managed the feat in 18 matches during the 1987/88 campaign.
The Kop sending FSG a big message
We keep talking about Salah, and how just gets better, and it feels like we are not alone.
In this game, there was a clear message sent to the club's owners from the Kop with a banner urging Liverpool to tie the Egyptian King down to a new contract.
Salah's contract is expiring at the end of the season and he has left some worrying hints about what his fate might end up being.
But it's clear Liverpool simply cannot afford to let him go.
Salah is far too good and he's got years left in him to play at this level.
Liverpool fans enjoying Guardiola's defeat
The main talking point ahead of the game was all about Pep Guardiola's side after their defeat to Brighton and there were plenty of eyes at Anfield glued to the game.
Fans were spotted watching City's defeat on their phones while Liverpool prepared to take on Villa.
Clearly, they will have been delighted by the result but perhaps even more delighted by the fact that it means Liverpool stay top of the Premier League during the international break.
