The Liverpool right-back is has established himself as an important part of Arne Slot's plans.

Conor Bradley has featured in six out of Liverpool's first ten matches and is a competent deputy behind Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Only 21-years-old at the moment, for now, Bradley is satisfied with the role he is playing in the Liverpool team.

However, sooner or later, he will have a decision to make. After all, the Northern Irish international is definitely good enough to be first choice anywhere else in the Premier League.

He is just 'unfortunately' up against one of the best right-backs in the world.

What Conor Bradley has said about Trent Alexander-Arnold competition

That topic has been a conversation in the Northern Irish training camp as Bradley joined his national team for their Nations League fixture against Belarus that will be played behind closed doors in Hungary.

Ahead of the game, Bradley was asked about the competition with Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool and where he sees his future at Anfield.

And the Liverpool youngster did not shy away, making a brutally honest declaration that his ultimate aim is to be the first choice right-back at the club.

"I want to be playing week in, week out for Liverpool," he said as per the BBC.

"I know I have a tough challenge ahead of me, but I want to give my all every day and see where that takes me."

What could this mean for Trent Alexander-Arnold's future?

With Real Madrid continuing their interest in Alexander-Arnold and the Reds not having come to an agreement for a contract extension with the club's no.66, Bradley's wish could turn to reality sooner than he expected.

If the Reds do not extend Alexander-Arnold's deal, he will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the season.

In that scenario, it's good to know that the Reds do have a more than competent right-back who has the potential to step into Alexander-Arnold's shoes.

Bradley may not have the world-class resume that Alexander-Arnold does, but he's shown he can be a reliable option and make an impact defensively and offensively as well.
