Liverpool transfers: Alexander-Arnold slammed for sending Real Madrid signals
Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has taken aim at Liverpool vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The 25-year-old was seen signing a Real Madrid shirt on holiday, with the Champions League winners interested in acquiring his services, and Trent's behaviour didn’t help the transfer rumours go away.
O’Hara thinks it isn’t a good look for the right-back, who has had some extended time off due to being with the England squad at Euro 2024.
He only has one year left on his current deal at Liverpool with sporting director Richard Hughes making a renewal a top priority.
PUNDIT BELIEVES TRENT WILL LEAVE
Speaking on TalkSport O’Hara didn’t hold back on Alexander-Arnold’s actions on holiday with Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham.
He said: “Bellingham and Trent out in Miami, living their best life, I saw him sign a Real Madrid shirt the other day.
“That’s poor, that. I am not having that. You can’t be having that. You can’t be signing Real Madrid shirts as a Liverpool player. Nah. I am not having that.
“I think he will be out of Liverpool. I think he will go to Real Madrid.”
The Scouser came through the ranks at Liverpool back in 2016 when Jurgen Klopp handed him his senior team debut. It would be a massive heartbreak to fans should he leave.

Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk are also in the last year of their contracts with three of Liverpool's top earners now into the final 12 months of their deals.
A welcome sight for fans will be seeing Alexander-Arnold link back up with his Liverpool teammates for the first taste of life under Arne Slot.
Slot was asked about the future of his vice-captain but he remained tight-lipped about the situation before the friendly against Real Betis.
"My answer will probably be a bit boring, I think it is the same answer you have heard in the last five, six, seven years," he said. "That contract situation is not discussed at this place, but just keep trying I would say!"
