CONFIRMED: How much Liverpool will pay to COMPLETE Omar Marmoush transfer
Liverpool are flying under new boss Arne Slot, but that hasn’t stopped the recruitment team at Anfield from looking ahead to the future.
There is no clear weakness in the current Liverpool squad, but the contract situations of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold could pose an issue.

As it stands, all three will be leaving Liverpool for free come the end of the season, and although the club may already have an alternative lined up for Alexander-Arnold, the same is certainly not true for Mo Salah.
As such, the Reds must turn to the transfer market if their talisman is to leave, and it could be another Egyptian that comes in to replace him.
Sporting director reveals Omar Marmoush’s price tag
Liverpool are just one of many teams linked with Omar Marmoush, who is setting the Bundesliga on fire this season.
The 25-year-old forward already has 14 goals and 10 assists in just 16 games for Eintracht Frankfurt this campaign, and this has made him one of Europe’s most talked about players.
Now, in an interview with German newspaper Welt, the Frankfurt sporting director, Markus Krosche, has spoken about the speculation surrounding Marmoush.
“For Omar, this isn’t a topic in his daily life. A key indicator of that is his performance, both in training and, most importantly, in matches.” Krosche said. “And his performance is spot on. He enjoys being here. He’s enthusiastic about playing for Eintracht in this team and is very well integrated.”
When asked about how much it would take to get Marmoush out of Eintracht, the interviewer referred to the player’s market value as €40 million. In response Krosche said: “That won't be enough.”
“It's often the case with many players who join us that we provide them with an environment where they can continue to develop—fully aware that we would let them go if they develop faster than the club itself. That's an agreement we make with the players.”
What will it take for Liverpool to get Marmoush out of Germany?
Later in the same interview Krosche confirms that the plan is for Marmoush to stay at Eintracht for the rest of the season.
So, a January move for Marmoush seems unlikely, but what would it take to get him in the summer?
Clearly more than €40 million.
Only one season ago Randal Kolo Muani moved from Eintracht Frankfurt to PSG for a fee of close to €100 million, and in his final season in Germany he produced 23 goals and 17 assists in 46 appearances.
It seems very realistic that Marmoush could achieve and potentially exceed the numbers that Kolo Muani put up before his big move, and so it isn’t too unreasonable to think Marmoush’s fee could be closer to the €100 million mark than the €40 million mark.
The fee is probably more likely to be somewhere in the middle, and although this seems expensive compared to the €40 million Marmoush has been touted for, it may be necessary to secure a player of his quality, especially if Salah leaves for free.
