Big move LIKELY for 'unique' Liverpool target with Salah seal of approval
Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush is the only player in Europe who can hold a candle to Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah this season.
The Egyptian attacker is playing out of his skin and has an astonishing 28 goal contributions in 17 games for the German side in all competitions this season.

The 25-year-old just keeps scoring and assisting, despite the fact that many expected his form to drop off by this stage in the season.
He bagged another two goals against Heidenheim at the weekend, bringing him to just one behind Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane in the Bundesliga goalscoring charts.
Frankfurt title charge
His goals also contributed to cementing Frankfurt’s second-place position in the Bundesliga, just three points behind leaders Bayern Munich. Marmoush is almost single-handedly leading a title charge in the first half of this season.
Fans were amazed with one of his goals against Heidenheim, with the in-form attacker skipping past a flailing defender before slotting the ball into the bottom corner with extreme confidence - remind you of any other Egyptian forwards?
There's no wonder he's in high demand.
Liverpool have concrete interest in Marmoush
Liverpool have been heavily linked with Marmoush for a number of weeks now, and a transfer to Anfield is looking more likely than ever following his most recent exploits.
Marmoush has been tipped as a Salah replacement, not only for Liverpool but also for the Egyptian national team as well.
Salah himself has spoken about Marmoush's potential and called him a unique player during last month's international break. "You can’t compare him to a player who has achieved so much over the years while he’s just starting out," Salah said of comparisons between the two.
"Let him live his own experience and enjoy it. He’s doing something different, in his own unique way."
With Salah's future as uncertain as ever, an approach for Marmoush would make a lot of sense, and a summer transfer now appears likely, according to Sky journalist Florian Plettenburg, despite the fact that Frankfurt would like to extend his contract beyond its current 2027 expiry date.
“Eintracht Frankfurt remain keen on extending his contract beyond 2027, but a summer transfer in summer appears likely,” Plettenburg wrote on X.
“Liverpool are showing concrete interest, while top clubs like Manchester United and FC Bayern are monitoring his situation.”
In an ideal world, of course, Salah would sign a new deal ALONGSIDE Liverpool bringing in Marmoush.
