But he's capable of more than that, Doue could even fit in in the no.10 role to occupy a back-up position behind Dominik Szoboszlai.

Despite limited playing time, he has still been playing really well for PSG. In just 13 starts out of a possible 30 matches, Doue has 10 goal contributions averaging a goal or assist 0.70 per 90 minutes.

He's still only 19 years old, which makes him an ideal profile for FSG as well.

With so much experience already under his belt this would be a dream signing for Liverpool. The kind of player who could herald this new era under Slot.

But while Kvaratskhelia's arrival certainly makes it easier for Liverpool to get him and edges a move even closer, it will still be a complicated deal to pull off.

PSG signed him for €50m from Rennes in the last summer transfer window. The French club will be reluctant to let him go for anything less than that figure.
