Reported Liverpool transfer target Antonee Robinson has responded to rumours linking him with a Fulham exit this summer, with the left-back not entirely ruling out a transfer in the coming months.

The United States international, who was actually born in Milton Keynes, was supposedly in talks with Liverpool in January, although nothing materialised during the winter window.

The 26-year-old has been in fantastic form this season and was linked with an Anfield switch amid a left-back injury crisis for the Reds at the turn of the year.

Manchester City have also been touted with interest in the former Everton academy player with Sergio Gomez the only orthodox left-back at the Etihad currently.

The defender would likely cost around £34m according to recent reports and hasn't closed the door on a summer exit, despite being happy in west London.

ANTONEE ROBINSON RESPONDS TO TRANSFER RUMOURS

Speaking with The Athletic, Robinson was quizzed about his Fulham future after signing a contract extension with the club in July 2023.

"I signed the deal because I was very happy at Fulham. I want to keep on developing, I’m very settled here, I love the club. It wasn’t a difficult decision to sign," said Robinson.

"Interest from other people is great... Obviously, it comes down to if someone wanted me enough to pay what Fulham would want, and if Fulham saw that as a good idea, then I’d leave.

"But until that happens, and I have no idea if it would, I’m just looking forward to the Copa America and then starting next year with Fulham — pushing on, and trying to help the team get to even better finishing spots."

Liverpool are not expected to target a left-back this summer but it could become a problem position for the Reds in the future.

Andy Robertson is 30 and struggled with injuries last term, with his form in the first half of the season leaving a lot to be desired anyway. Kostas Tsimikas may have produced the match-winning assist in the Carabao Cup final, but his performances have been pretty poor over the past year.

However, with Joe Gomez being able to cover in that position and Liverpool aiming to recruit a left-footed centre-back this summer, signing someone at left-back can likely wait.
