Mo Salah TRANSFER DATE emerges as Liverpool legend linked with Saudi switch
Liverpool fans were plunged into uncertainty over the weekend as a result of a social media post on the part of Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian front man scored the winning goal for the Reds in their 2-1 Premier League victory against Brighton but sent the rumour mill into overdrive with his actions in the aftermath.
Salah, 32, posted what appeared to be a farewell message to Liverpool fans, suggesting once again that he would be leaving the club next summer.

Liverpool turn down £130m offer
The Premier League and Champions League winner’s Anfield contract expires in summer 2025 and so far there have been no signs of a renewal coming from Salah or club bosses.
Paris Saint-Germain, Inter and Juventus have been mooted as possible European destinations for Salah but the most prominent interest has been from the Saudi Pro League.
Last summer Liverpool were reported to have turned down an offer of around £130 million from Al-Ittihad for Salah, who would have earned fortunes as the new face of the league.
Al-Hilal want Salah
Rumours of a Saudi Arabia move for Salah have not gone away in the meantime however with renewed links in the past few days emerging.
This time however it’s not Al-Ittihad but a different club who have been linked with Salah, who would not fetch a transfer fee should he leave Merseyside when his terms expire.
Al-Hilal are the dominant force in Saudi football and boast in their ranks expensive overseas players such as Neymar, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly, Joao Cancelo, Malcom and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
And Al-Hilal are reported to now have Salah in their sights, with the Egyptian tailor-made to lead their charge at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Al-Hilal ready to push for Salah
That’s according to Saudi football expert Ben Jacobs, who revealed Al-Hilal’s push for Salah in an interview on talkSPORT this week.
"2025 is the target. Al-Hilal is the club,” he said. "The Saudi football federation will be taking FIFA up on this so-called exceptional window ahead of the Club World Cup.
"So they could in theory try and sign Salah between June 1 and 10, which means they're looking at him for not just the Saudi Pro League but for the Club World Cup."
