Grim FSG TRUTH behind latest Mo Salah contract twist revealed
Liverpool supporters are not the only ones running out of patience at how the protracted contract negotiations around Mohamed Salah are playing out.
From the Athletic we have learned that Salah himself is “increasingly exasperated” at how things are going. But the sad truth appears to be that FSG don’t want to pay him the money and the message from Salah’s camp is that he’s annoyed.

Not that you would notice from his output on the field. A goal and an assist on Sunday against Manchester City took him to 13 goals and 11 assists in all competitions this season.
There is no doubt that Salah is the best player in the world right now. Seriously, who else is in the conversation?
Salah is the best player in the world
Robert Lewandowski? Vinicius Junior? Jamal Musiala? Come off it. Salah at 32 is perhaps better than all of those. Better than he’s ever been. And that’s some going for a man who’s been top scorer in EVERY season he’s been at the club since joining in 2017.
We’ve got used to Mo being disrespected, be it Ballon d’Or, FIFA, UEFA or even CAF when it comes to individual awards. But by his own employers? The team he’s done so much to restore to the top level of world football? FSG seemingly don’t want him, under any circumstances.
I mean, can you believe this?
Salah DESPERATE to stay
The best player in the world is DESPERATE to play for Liverpool. He’s so desperate that he’s willing to sacrifice long-term security on offer elsewhere in order for one more guaranteed year at Anfield. And still that doesn’t appear to be enough for the bean counters in Boston.
How much do you reckon it would cost to go out into the market and find someone as good as Mo Salah? That’s if you can find one. And frankly the names put forward as a Salah replacement are probably insulting to the man himself. Dario Osorio and Anis Hadj Moussa are totally unproven.
Raphinha is a very good player but Liverpool would have to pay a sizeable transfer fee and probably a king’s ransom in wages too. Leroy Sane is in the exact same situation as Salah, only he’s at Bayern Munich and not half as good.
Seriously, FSG. He wants to play for us, he wants to break records. He’s loved, adored, and revered by supporters the world over. But it looks like you’ve made your point now.
You’re going to let him leave aren’t you?
