Liverpool gain HUGE Khvicha Kvaratskhelia advantage as Fabrizio Romano gives update
Liverpool have seemingly gained a major advantage in their race to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia meanwhile Fabrizio Romano has also issued an update.
It was revealed on Thursday night that Liverpool have entered the race for the Georgian winger after he became available on the market in the January window.

Kvaratskhelia is at an impasse with Napoli in terms of signing a new deal and PSG are currently the front runners in the race to sign him.
However, Liverpool are also in the running and are long-term admirers of the winger. And while PSG may have more financial might, the Reds do seemingly have an advantage in the race to sign him.
Liverpool's Kvaratskhelia advantage
Napoli reportedly want €80m for Kvaratskhelia. However, La Repubblica are reporting that at the moment PSG have only offered €45m, which is obviously way below the Italian side's valuation.
On top of that, La Repubblica also reports that Napoli have identified Liverpool's Federico Chiesa as a replacement for Kvaratskhelia.
This gives Liverpool a major advantage over PSG. Not only is it clear that the French side are nowhere near to meeting Napoli's demands, the replacement the Italians want for Kvaratskhelia is a Liverpool player - meaning the Reds could offer more money and a direct replacement - which is a much better package.
Fabrizio Romano issues Kvaratskhelia update
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano revealed that while negotiations are concrete with PSG for Kvaratskhelia, 'it is not done.'
He added that 'many clubs have started calling to understand the situation of Kvaratskhelia', including clubs from the Premier League, which is one to keep an eye on adding: 'let's see what could happen with England.'
This is certainly an encouraging update. Earlier in his newsletter, Romano revealed the following information as well:
'There is interest from the Premier League but, as of now, and again as of now as it can change, the only club approaching Napoli is Paris Saint-Germain,' Romano wrote.
'There's a direct negotiation between Napoli and PSG already, with an important contract offered to the player,' he added.
Whether Liverpool can gain an edge in those negotiations remains to be seen. But it certainly seems like it's not a done deal with PSG yet.
With Napoli's interest in Chiesa, perhaps he could be the trump card for the Reds.
