Liverpool transfers: Ferdi Kadioglu on Reds radar as Juventus and Man Utd circle
Liverpool are interested in signing Turkish Euro 2024 sensation Ferdi Kadioglu along with Manchester United and Newcastle.
That’s according to a new report in Italian outlet Calciomercato, which claims Premier League suitors are threatening a Juventus approach for the versatile Fenerbahce star.
Kadioglu, 24, excelled at left back for Vincenzo Montella’s Turkey at Euro 2024 and his marauding runs from defence were a feature of their run to the quarter-finals.
He has been earmarked as a potential arrival for Italian giants Juve, who would like to swap him for Weston McKennie.

However the report claims the two sides are far apart in their valuations with McKennie rated at €20 million and Kadioglu valued at €30m.
Juventus are under further pressure due to Premier League interest with the Reds, Man Utd and Newcastle all named as interested parties.
Previously it was reported that Arsenal were keen having struggled at left back all season.
Kadioglu a versatile star
Dutch-born Kadioglu was among Fener’s best performers last season as a left back capable of taking on his man, making chances and even pitching in with the odd goal or two.
Although he has been fielded in the main as a left back for club and country in recent times, he is just as comfortable at right back and could well prove valuable for Arne Slot in either position.
Moreover, as a young player with NEC in the Netherlands - where he was born and grew up - and in his early days with Fener, he covered positions further up the pitch, in central midfield as well as on the wings.

The Turkey international could therefore be seen as a shrewd addition for the Reds, who saw injuries bite last season, appearing at times short of cover.
Having signed with Fenerbahce under the short-lived reign of Phillip Cocu in 2018, Kadioglu initially struggled to make an impact in Istanbul but has gradually grown into a key performer.
Interest hotting up in €30m Kadioglu
Kadioglu renewed his contract in 2022 and his new terms extend until 2026 but interest is picking up in the former Netherlands under-21 all across the continent.
As well as Premier League teams, it’s also been reported that Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, AC Milan and Inter are keen.
