Liverpool transfers: Reds could strike gold with target's NEW expected price

Liverpool might have struck gold as one of their reported target has a new price tag that’s incredibly tempting.

The Telegraph reports that Leeds United could sell Crysencio Summerville for £30m this summer after failing to earn promotion to the Premier League. Leeds ultimately lost the playoff final to Southampton 1-0.

And with that, they're set for another year in the Championship. It's something that makes it much more difficult to hold onto Summerville, who has been the league's standout player this season.

Leeds, after all, won't be receiving the windfall of a Premier League promotion. The Telegraph makes it clear that they're now in no position to reject big offers and Summerville has clubs interested.

Chelsea are named in the piece, while they mention that Liverpool have been linked with the player. We exclusively revealed that the Reds had Summerville on their radar earlier this year.

And at £30m, Summerville could be a steal.

At £30m, Summerville would still be one of the more expensive sales out of the Championship. But he's also one of the most accomplished players to come out of the league.

For one thing, he's already got Premier League experience under his belt - including a late winner at Anfield. So when you can then add that on the back of his 19 goals and nine assists this season, you get a 22-year-old that feels like a can't-miss prospect.

Those usually cost a lot more than £30m and if Leeds were promoted, that figure legitimately could have doubled.

Now, though, Summerville feels like a bit of a steal and one that Liverpool must quickly decide on. We're not entirely sure they have room for another winger right now without selling anyone.

But with Luis Diaz consistently linked with such a move, perhaps Summerville becomes a very realistic prospect.
