Fabrizio Romano sends Liverpool fans into ECSTASY after £50m target scores worldie
Liverpool are believed to be in pole position to acquire a sought-after player from a fellow Premier League side.
According to a recent newspaper report, the Reds are plotting to make a swoop for Bournemouth’s star left-back Milos Kerkez. The Hungarian, 21, is also wanted by both Manchester clubs but it is thought that Kerkez favours a move to Merseyside.
It would be a real improvement upon Liverpool’s current options in the position, given Andy Robertson’s recent struggles and Kostas Tsimikas’ injury issues so far this season.

Kerkez would not come cheap, however. Bournemouth are ready to hold out for a fee upwards of £50m, which would be a fair reflection given his form and potential given his still tender age.
He was impressive during the early Saturday lunchtime game in which Bournemouth ran out 4-1 winners over an in-form Newcastle side. Kerkez put the icing on the Cherries’ dominant performance with a stunning strike in the 96th minute, which can be seen below.
Social media was awash with adoration for Kerkez, and many Reds supporters imploring Richard Hughes to bring him to Anfield just as he succeeded in bringing him to Bournemouth when Hughes was their sporting director.
Many were also lamenting the fact that such a spectacular goal would likely lead to Bournemouth increasing Kerkez’s asking price even further, especially if as is believed they would like to keep ahold of him until the summer.
Transfer reporter supreme Fabrizio Romano backed up the earlier report that both Liverpool and Manchester United were the clubs most closely monitoring Kerkez during this stellar run of form.
You would imagine that Liverpool would not be held to ransom by Bournemouth given the good relationship enjoyed between the clubs thanks to Richard Hughes, especially when you factor in Kerkez’s desire to join the Reds too.
