Liverpool ALREADY have their very own Alphonso Davies
Liverpool are reportedly trying to sign Alphonso Davies, however they already have a player just like him.
There are absolutely no doubts about the fact that one of the club's major priorities in the upcoming transfer windows is to tie down the future of the left-back position.

Andy Robertson is getting to the tail end of his career and he has struggled at times over the last year or so.
With the Scotsman now in his thirties, it's clear Liverpool need a younger and fresher alternative solution to the role. Someone who can play in that position and be the future of the club for the next decade.
But the answer may not necessarily be Davies.
Why Liverpool have a player just like Alphonso Davies
Davies is a fantastic player. He's already achieved at lot at just 24-years-old having led his country to a World Cup, winning multiple Bundesliga titles and the Champions League with Bayern Munich.
He's already been around professional sports since he was 15 years old, becoming one of the youngest players to ever feature in the MLS.
It means he would come with almost a decade's worth of experience in the game. And while that has its benefits, it also has its red flags.
Davies has struggled with injuries and consistency over the last couple of seasons at Bayern. Admittedly, Bayern haven't been their dominant selves either but Davies' form is a concern.
Liverpool already have an Alphonso Davies in Owen Beck
Davies' biggest asset has always been the fact that he is a flying wing-back who can bomb forward and create chaos offensively.
That part of his game isn't the same as it always was.
But Owen Beck has demonstrated while on loan at Blackburn that this is definitely a part of his game. He's even been playing a bit further up the field as a left-winger at times this season.
On top of that, he's also posting really solid defensive numbers ranking in the 90th percentile as per FBref for tackles and interceptions as opposed to Davies who is merely in the 59th percentile.
So, while it might be tempted for Liverpool to go all out and get a shiny new toy, why go for Davies when you already have someone a bit similar who can also put in the defensive work, too.
Instead, Liverpool should be going all out for Milos Kerkez, who as Anfield Watch exclusively reported the club is already in talks with.
He is a completely different profile and who would represent something different that Arne Slot doesn't already have in his arsenal.
