Liverpool set to FIX transfer mistake by signing Chelsea star
With the winter transfer window fast approaching, Liverpool will have some potential unfinished business to attend too.
While the Reds have had an incredible run so far this season, there are definitely positions that need strengthening more than others.
One of these being the striker role.

Darwin Nunez hasn’t been able to step up and deliver when he is called upon and this is frustrating many supporters.
Having joined the Reds in the summer of 2022, he's never really found consistent form to make him a solid starter in this competitive Liverpool side.
And there is one Premier League star the recruitment team may be keeping an eye on to replace the Uruguayan.
Liverpool considering Nkunku?
Before the Reds secured the services of Nunez, they were in pursuit of now Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku. The Frenchman had long been on the radar of Michael Edwards and most of his recruitment team at the club.
The 27-year-old was hit with an injury plagued first season in England, but has since shown promising signs.
However, he has failed to break into the first team leading to questions about his happiness at the club.
And with Chelsea's constant financial issues, the club may be open to offloading him sooner rather than later.
And a recent report by TBR Football confirms that the player may be keen on a move away from Stamford Bridge in January.
TBR Football correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Christopher Nkunku is ready to leave Chelsea in January after failing to become a first-team regular.
“Nkunku has been determined to battle for his place in recent months, but it has become clear that the 27-year-old is far from being a regular under Enzo Maresca.”
TBR Football understands that Nkunku’s representatives are now actively looking into options for the French star.
What may throw the recruitment team off is his age and current contract wages with the Frenchman earning nearly £200,000 a week.
However, Nkunku would be a welcome signing for the Reds. A player who has shown immense potential and is eager to start in the Premier League, it would be silly not to at least consider him.
