Liverpool are still very much in the hunt to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Willian Pacho according to reports from Germany.

The Reds have been linked regularly with the 22-year-old Ecuadorian defender in recent weeks and it looks like he could well leave the Bundesliga this summer IF a potential buyer offers the right price.

According to Sky Sport Germany transfer reporter Florian Plettenberg, Eintracht have now set a price tag for Pacho with €50-60m the magic number.

Per Plettenberg, the Reds would not have an easy run at Pacho, with Premier League rivals Arsenal also reportedly in the hunt.

Writing on X, he revealed: "Arsenal and Liverpool are still interested in Pacho and enquired about him. The 22-year-old is allowed to leave Eintracht in the summer if someone pays between €50-60m in transfer fees. This price tag has been set."

That price tag would appear extremely punchy from Frankfurt, and would represent a massive profit on a player they signed from Royal Antwerp of Belgium for just €9m last summer.

He quickly became a fixture in the starting lineup for the German side, starting a meteoric rise to attract attention from some of Europe's top clubs.
