Liverpool BACK IN for £55m world-beating winger
All other things being equal, Mo Salah has been the best player in the world this season.
His 29 goal involvements have been pivotal to Liverpool being top of both the Premier League and Champions League, but his next-level performances have the cloud of his contract situation looming over them.

The Egyptian isn’t contracted beyond the end of the season right now and has made his thoughts about the matter known.
As a result, rumours of who Liverpool could approach to replace him have been abound.
One of the only players pushing Salah for the ‘best player in the world’ moniker is Barcelona’s Raphinha.
And now a report by TBR Football suggests that the Reds could be pushing for the Brazilian to be their Salah replacement.
Could Liverpool sign Raphinha?
The report states that Liverpool - along with Arsenal and Mancester City - all enquired about Raphinha’s availability in the summer and remain in contact with intermediaries around the player.
And eyebrows have been raised with Barcelona’s recent re-emergence of financial issues. The Blaugrana are currently unable to register Dani Olmo for the rest of the season, needing to generate the funds to do so somehow.
The club themselves indicate that a new deal with Nike will be enough for them to get this done, but that is only a temporary fix and Raphinha is currently their most prized asset.
The former Leeds United winger has 27 goal involvements in 24 games so far this season, including six goals in six Champions League games with a hattrick in a 4-1 dismantling of Bayern Munich.
He has been Salah-esque in Barcelona’s rise to the top of La Liga and second in the Champions League.
Liverpool were linked to Raphinha back when he was tearing it up in the Premier League with Leeds, in what would have proved an outstanding move for the club.
Yet it could still occur as Barcelona’s seemingly ever-present money struggles will always need resolving.
The idea of Raphinha and Salah in the same attacking line is absolutely frightening. The two would be having Liverpool’s own personal Ballon d’Or-off.
