'Okay let's negotiate' - Fabrizio Romano drops Trent Alexander-Arnold BOMBSHELL
Liverpool are facing a triple contract crisis with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
Salah, 32, set tongues wagging again last week with a social media post in the aftermath of the Reds’ 2-1 Premier League victory against Brighton. The Egyptian superstar appeared to bid farewell to Anfield with no resolution in talks over a new deal in sight.
Van Dijk meanwhile admitted a few weeks ago that he had no idea where his future lay with sporting director Richard Hughes under pressure to deliver new terms to three of the club’s most important players.

Real Madrid need a new right-back
Alexander-Arnold has been linked with a free transfer to Real Madrid with the 15-time European champions heavily courting the Englishman in recent months.
The right-back has a firm friend already in place at the Bernabeu in Jude Bellingham and there have been increasing hints that Trent’s future lies away from his hometown club.
With uncertainty around the long-term fitness of Dani Carvajal, plus the struggles of Lucas Vazquez, it has been suggested in the Spanish media that Los Blancos could attempt to make a bid for Alexander-Arnold in the January transfer window instead.

Fabrizio Romano offers Alexander-Arnold update
Speaking on his YouTube channel, renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano admitted that the 26-year-old is a ‘top, top, top’ Real Madrid target and outlined the conditions under which a deal might be concluded in January.
Romano conceded it looked like ‘mission impossible’ for Carlo Ancelotti’s side to complete a move for Alexander-Arnold unless they received notice from Liverpool that they would be prepared to face a sale.
'Okay, let's negotiate'
“I am told that for January, Real Madrid internally feel that it is going to be almost mission impossible to sign Trent in the January transfer window,” he said.
“Trent is a name for the summer transfer window. That’s the idea for Real Madrid, and he’s always been considered a top, top, top target for the summer at Real Madrid.
“The only way to make it happen in January is if Liverpool tell them, ‘okay, let’s negotiate’. But Liverpool, at the moment, are absolutely not opening the doors to that.
“Liverpool are very happy with Trent as part of the squad. Liverpool are still discussing with Trent over a new deal, and Liverpool are still pushing to keep Trent at the club, to extend his contract, to find a way.”
