Contract talks HINT at Trent Alexander-Arnold decision
Liverpool are facing an imminent contract CRISIS over three players with the terms of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold all due to expire in summer 2025.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, has been linked mostly with a move to Real Madrid with Los Blancos seeking to add a starting right-back to their lineup next season.

It’s been reported that the England international is close to securing a deal at the Bernabeu on terms which would fetch him a hefty pay rise - as well as a significant signing-on fee.

It may be that Liverpool are planning for the future without their homegrown hero in mind and several right-backs have been named as potential replacements.
Wesley linked with Liverpool move
The most recent reports centred on Brazilian full-back Wesley from Flamengo but the Reds also have a solution in-house that they should not overlook.
And if the latest reports are to be believed, it looks like the club are making plans for Conor Bradley to take over from Trent long-term.

Bradley, 21, only signed a new contract back in December 2023 and made the breakthrough into Jurgen Klopp’s lineup shortly thereafter.
The Northern Ireland international has since racked up over 50 appearances for the first team, providing competition and cover for Trent on the right flank.
Out of contract in 2027, it’s now being reported that Bradley’s representatives are locked in talks over a new deal which would extend his time at the club.
Liverpool line up Bradley deal
“Negotiations continue to take place between the Reds and representatives of Bradley,” Ian Doyle wrote in the Liverpool Echo.
That may well be an indication that Alexander-Arnold has made a definitive decision on his future and he will be off to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
While that would indeed be a bitter blow, Bradley’s emergence as one of the best right-backs around is somewhat of a consolation.
Liverpool fans would love to see Bradley given an extended run in the team if Trent goes - that’s if he can iron out his injury troubles.
Currently on his second injury-enforced absence of the season, Bradley will have to prove his reliability long-term in order to be considered Arne Slot’s No1 pick in the position.
