Richard Hughes given golden chance to buy TWO strikers
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes wants a new striker this summer. Now he has a chance to sign two.
Liverpool will try to sign a new no.9 this summer. That much is clear to everyone paying attention.

Arne Slot has struggled to get any sort of consistency out of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota this season, with the pair proving to be unreliable in different ways. Nunez, of course, plays regularly but just can't finish at a good rate.
All the tools are there - apart from that one really important bit. Liverpool will look to move on in the summer.
Jota can finish consistently but he's just rarely fit. He's played a little over one-third of Liverpool's Premier League minutes this season.
Anfield Watch understands that Liverpool do want to overhaul their attack this summer. There's interest in Darwin Nunez from Saudi Arabia (the Reds rejected an offer in January) while Jota has long-term admirers.
But will they just sign the one replacement? We think there's room for two.

Two new strikers
Nunez is more likely to leave Liverpool than Jota this summer but there's still the scenario where both leave. That would naturally mean two strikers have to come in.
And with that comes the very interesting situation around Liam Delap. The Ipswich Town strikers has been brilliant this season but an impending relegation almost certainly brings a sale.
Delap has a relegation release clause in his contract that allows him to leave for £30m. It's a bargain.
The Athletic reports that Liverpool do hold an interest in the player but they're 'prioritising others'. It suggests that the Reds do like Delap even if they feel there's at least one better option.
But honestly, why not both? Selling Nunez and Jota almost certainly funds their replacements with money to spare.
Jota, for one, could absolutely move for more than £30m if Liverpool wish to try something new. Similarly, the £70m on offer from Saudi Arabia would cover Nunez's replacement - whoever that may be.
The Delap situation allows Liverpool to truly overhaul their attack this summer if they wish. He's there ready to be signed and the champions-elect will be in a glorious position to get him.
