Tzimas is currently excelling on loan at Nurnberg in 2.Bundesliga after arriving in Germany on loan from PAOK.
Nurnberg have an €18m buy option from PAOK which the German side are expected to trigger.
Liverpool are exploring options to sign him in the January or summer window. It is understood the Reds are already working this month to put the transfer in motion.
Who is Stefanos Tzimas?
Tzimas only turned 19 years old on the 6th January of this year. Born in 2006, he has come through the ranks at one Greece's biggest clubs, PAOK, since joining the club at the age of seven.
He caught the eye as a 16-year-old, scoring seven goals in 10 matches for PAOK's B team before earning a call-up to the senior squad.
As a teenager Tzimas made 30 appearances for PAOK's senior team and scored five goals - which is impressive considering most of his time was spent coming off the bench and played only 333 minutes in total.
That meant he averaged a goal contribution for PAOK every 66 minutes in the Greek top flight and those performances attracted the attention of Nurnberg, who swooped to bring him in on loan during summer 2024.
It's a decision that has paid dividends with Tzimas thriving since arriving in Germany.
He stands at an impressive 1.86 metres tall and has an exquisite first touch and a great burst of speed that makes him a real live wire for defenders.
Not to mention, he is a brilliant finisher and puts in a fair share of his defensive duties as well which is why he has attracted the attention of Liverpool.
Who else is interested in Stefanos Tzimas?
As well as Liverpool, a number of Premier League clubs also have Tzimas on their radar. This includes Chelsea and Brighton.
Meanwhile, a host of other clubs from Europe, particularly Germany, are also monitoring his situation.
That is why Liverpool are very keen to act fast in the negotiations and secure his transfer before anyone else.
