Liverpool make first step to sign Mo Salah REGEN
Liverpool have their eyes on a true Mo Salah regen. The Egyptian is out of contract - but maybe another is on the way.
Mo Salah's contract ends at the end of this season. That was horrible to say back in August when there was nearly a year to run.

But now there's well under six months to run. Salah can actually negotiate quite freely with non-English clubs right now, potentially signing a pre-contract to join them from July.
Liverpool really need to do something about that. Salah isn't just their best player right now but arguably the best on the planet.
He's putting up the kinds of numbers we haven't seen since Luis Suarez went on that mad run in 2013/14. The difference here is that Suarez wanted to leave - Salah actively wants to stay.
But Liverpool's forward line could change dramatically this summer. On top of Salah, there's interest in Darwin Nunez from Saudi Arabia, as exclusively revealed by Anfield Watch.
And Luis Diaz faces an uncertain future after rejecting a contract offer from Liverpool.
So how do you fix a situation like this? Well, you go out and buy the stars all over again. Starting with Salah.
Liverpool want Kvicha Kvaratskhelia
Kvicha Kvaratskhelia is reportedly available and Liverpool are interested in signing him. That's the line right now - and it's an exciting one.
They've taken the first step here, identifying that they will get involved if Napoli make him available to buy. We'll see where it goes from here but it's safe to say fans are on board.
You can find an expert lowdown on Kvaratskhelia right here, and he's undoubtedly one of the most exciting transfer targets in some time. The Georgian is electric and we'd like some more of that at Liverpool.
But importantly, he's also a similar type of player to Mo Salah with the added bonus of being around 10 years younger. That's not just our opinion, but the opinion of top-notch managers.
"Kvaratskhelia, who in his movements reminds me of an early Mohamed Salah," said Fabio Capello back in 2022.
And Luciano Spalletti, who managed a Napoli side with Kvaratskhelia to the Serie A title back in 2023, also sees the comparisons with Salah.
“He has this sensibility when he dribbles, in the way he caresses the ball and dummies opponents, it makes him so hard to defend… Maybe… Momo Salah is one of the players who had this quality in tight spaces and the precision of his finishing, the ability to stay calm and not feel the pressure," he said, per the Athletic.
"He's a quiet boy and an exceptional player who definitely has a great future ahead of him.”
