Fabrizio Romano confirms interest in MOMENTOUS Liverpool double-deal
Liverpool have two players wanted in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Pro League is throwing money around once again.
Liverpool have done a lot of business with Saudi Arabia in recent years. Or at least, they've signed a lot of 'Liverpool' players.

That's the nature of having such an incredibly successful team under Jurgen Klopp. Once the big bucks were thrown around, they wanted the stars who delivered those trophies.
Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum, Sadio Mane and Fabinho all went over there during that first mega-wave. Now more could follow.
Liverpool have already rejected a monstrous bid for Mo Salah back in 2023. There has been constant interest in Alisson Becker, too, while Anfield Watch exclusively revealed recently that there had been a bid for Darwin Nunez.
Liverpool rejected that, of course.
Fabrizio Romano confirms interest
And now Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the interest in Salah and Nunez. He's been discussing the crazy deals thought up in Saudi Arabia right now, and those two are on the list of Al-Hilal.
“In terms of interests from Saudi, they have some obsessions, some players they would love to bring to the Saudi Pro League,” said Romano.
“Vini is their dream target, but also remember the positions they have for Mohamed Salah and for Darwin Nunez. Liverpool were very clear this winter that they wanted to keep the player, but the interest is still there.”
Money is currently being thrown at the Premier League. Jhon Duran is expected to make a mega-move to Al-Nassr for big money, while the same club just bid £65m for Kaoru Mitoma, per the Athletic.
At the time of writing, the latter has been rejected by Brighton.
But Al-Hilal are one to watch here. They'll play in the FIFA Club World Cup later this year and after Neymar's exit, it's expected that they'll bid for a superstar.
There's interest in both Salah and Nunez. Let's see if Liverpool get a call.
