Monday's here and we're into the final stretch before the Premier League starts. Here are today's Liverpool transfer rumours hot off the (virtual) presses...

Mohamed Salah is in the crosshairs of the Saudi Pro League. The Mirror say the forward is on a shortlist, along with Kevin de Bruyne, as a target for next year.

According to Arriyadiyah, Al Ittihad (Fabinho's new club) have already made an offer worth £155m for two seasons to Liverpool's record Premier League scorer.

Thankfully, Salah's agent Ramy Abbas has already shot down talk of a move this summer. Read more on that here.

The Daily Star say Kylian Mbappe is open to a loan move in the Premier League, as he remains frozen out at PSG.

And the France captain is a 'huge admirer' of Liverpool, with a switch to Merseyside not impossible if sponsors pitch in, according to Football Insider. Don't get your hopes up.

Meanwhile, Southampton CEO Phil Parsons has warned that the Saints don't need to sell players 'on the cheap', as the Romeo Lavia saga drags on (and on and on), via BBC Radio Solent.

Sacha Tavolieri says this week will be 'intense' for Liverpool's the Lavia pursuit.

Should the young midfielder feature at all in Southampton's EFL Cup tie on Tuesday, he'll be cup tied...

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich are interested in a loan move for Jurgen Klopp's great unrequited love Aurelien Tchouameni, says Christian Falk.

Fabrizio Romano claims one-time Reds target Khephren Thuram was ultimately deemed too expensive by Liverpool in terms of fee and wages.

And finally, Leeds are in advanced talks to sign Nat Phillips for £10m, according to Rudy Galetti.
