Liverpool transfer news roundup: Le Normand scouted, Musiala update, Andre latest
Another day, another big bucket load of Liverpool rumours.
Here's all the very latest Liverpool transfer gossip broken down and sized up for you.
Robin Le Normand
Would you like a brand new defensive name linked with Liverpool for a change? Oh go on then.
Well, TEAMtalk claim that Liverpool (and Manchester United) scouts have been left impressed by Real Sociedad centre back Robin Le Normand, who has a release clause of €50m (£43.5m).Assan Ouedraogo
Meanwhile, Liverpool's chances of landing Schalke wonderkid Assan Ouedraogo have taken a hit, with the 17-year-old's management set for a meeting with (inevitably) Bayern Munich, according to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg.
The midfielder, likened to Xabi Alonso no less, has a release clause of between €7-20m (£6-17.5m), depending on various factors.
Jamal Musiala
In even more disappointing news, it seems Liverpool is not an option for Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala.
The former England Under-21 who now represents Germany has no intention to leave Bavaria just yet, according to Plettenberg again. However, even if he did, the only realistic destinations for him would be Manchester City or Real Madrid, with Liverpool 'absolutely unlikely'.
Just no need, Jamal.
Victor Osimhen
Elsewhere, Neil Jones has poured a big bucket of ice water on those dubious Victor Osimhen links, saying he is 'very sceptical' of the rumours as Liverpool are not in the market for another number nine.
Last week it was claimed that the Reds had agreed personal terms with Napoli's main goal threat.
Rodrygo
Speaking of rumours to be sceptical of... Eduardo Inda of infamous Spanish football show El Chiringuito has claimed that Jurgen Klopp would love to bring in Real Madrid's Rodrygo as a replacement for Mohamed Salah next summer.
Take that one with enough salt to melt all the snow off Mount Everest.
Andre Trindade
Football Transfers say that several Premier League clubs are planning to send scouts to the Copa Libertadores final to watch, among others, Liverpool target Andre Trindade. Anfield Watch has reported that the Reds will have priority in a January deal, if they want it.Kalvin Phillips
Kalvin Phillips is likely not on the agenda for Liverpool this January, according to Fabrizio Romano, who has said he is 'unaware' of interest in the rarely-seen Manchester City midfielder.
Recent reports claimed the former Leeds man will be available for loan this winter.
Martin Odegaard
And finally, former Liverpool star Suso has claimed that Martin Odegaard 'stood out' during a week-long trial at Melwood back in 2014.
Ah, what might have been...
