Here's what's happening in the world of Liverpool transfer rumours on Thursday...

Levi Colwill is the Liverpool's top target for a new centre back this summer, but the Reds will need the 20-year-old to push for transfer says Jacque Talbot writing for Anfield Watch. Read our full story here.

Meanwhile Neil Jones writing for Caught Offside has suggested that "money wouldn't be an issue" for Liverpool in their pursuit of the highly rated Chelsea defender.

Jordan Henderson's will-they-won't-they saga with Saudi Arabia continues apace, with The Times and Telegraph both reporting on Wednesday that the Liverpool captain is weighing up an offer to move to the Middle East.

The Mail Online say that Al-Ettifaq (famously Steven Gerrard's new club) have offered a two-year deal with the option of a third, with Henderson making his decision LeBron-style today or on Friday. Exciting. Ben Jacobs says it's definitely not happening.

However, David Ornstein writes for The Athletic that the Liverpool captain is leaning towards a move to Saudi Arabia, where he would quadruple his current salary. Wowzers.

Meanwhile, Henderson's midfield partner Thiago continues to be linked with a move away. Turkish outlet Aksam say Galatasaray want him and are willing to pay €10m to take him off Liverpool's hands.

That money could be used to buy one quarter of Perr Schuurs, with Tuttosport saying Liverpool have put in a bid above €30m — but are still some way short of the €40m Torino want for their Dutch defender.

And one man definitely not joining Liverpool it seems is Khephren Thuram, who is set to stay at Nice for another year say L'Equipe.
