Henderson's gone but the rumour mill keeps turning. Here's Friday's goss for you...

Kylian Mbappe is NOT interested in meeting with representatives from Al-Hilal, despite that obscene offer, according to Sky Sports. *Insert Jim Carrey 'so you're saying there's a chance' meme*

Meanwhile, Liverpool target Levi Colwill was absent from Chelsea's latest pre-season game due an injury precaution and nothing else, Mauricio Pochettino has insisted, via Football.London.

In much more positive news, Liverpool appear to be inching towards the finish line with Romeo Lavia, with Sacha Tavolieri claiming the player could soon undertake a medical. Read more on that here.

Fabrizio Romano says the latest bid for Southampton's 19-year-old will be £42.5m plus 2.5m in add-ons.

However, Chelsea may try to gazump Liverpool in the race for Lavia after seeing another bid for Moises Caicedo rejected by Brighton, claims Ben Jacobs.

Elsewhere, Italian site Toro.it say Liverpool have not given up in the chase for Torino's Dutch defender Perr Schuurs. Palace are interested too, supposedly.

Another defender Liverpool probably won't sign is Barcelona's Andreas Christensen. El Nacional (hardly the most reliable source) say the Reds made a €30m bid for the ex-Chelsea defender and are prepared to up it to €50m.

Sofyan Amrabat will be pursued by Man Utd into the final weeks of the transfer window, say the Express. The Moroccan had been touted as an option for Liverpool.

Another supposed Reds target, Marco Verratti's move to Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia is in the 'advanced stages' according to Fabrizio Romano.

Also on the way to Saudi Arabia is Fabinho, who isn't part of the Liverpool squad to travel to Singapore, as his £40m move to Al-Ittihad moves ever closer.

And lastly, Jordan Henderson will wear the number 10 shirt for Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq, having (FINALLY) been officially unveiled.
