Ready for another helping of Liverpool transfer gossip? Of course you are. Get stuck in...

Move over Romeo Lavia, Reds Twitter has a new fave and his name is Andre Trindade! Rio-based paper Lance claim the 22-year-old midfielder has a €40m (£34m) release clause – which Liverpool aren't willing to pay to bypass negotiations.

Meanwhile, ESPN say Fluminense may be open to a summer sale if they lose their Copa Libertadores last 16 clash with Argentinos Juniors next week. I've always loved *looks up club nickname* El Tifón de Boyacá.

However, A Bola in Portugal claim that Sporting CP are not giving up in the chase for Andre either and see the player as having 'great potential'.

Sky Sports' Melissa Reddy has said Liverpool are still looking for two different profiles of midfielder this summer. You can read more about what those are here.

On to the other big target then. The Independent say Manchester United are considering 'trumping' Liverpool for Lavia, while Arsenal and Chelsea remain interested.

But the Reds are ready to go up to £45m for the Southampton star, according to Football Insider, having seen their first two bids knocked back.

In other midfielder news, Deportes COPE say Liverpool have made an offer of €25m (£21.5m) for Celta star Gabri Veiga, but will let the Spanish side keep him on loan for a season.

Staying in Spain, could Franck Kessie be in Liverpool's radar? I highly doubt it, but that's what SPORT are pushing.

The Athletic say there's been a bid surpassing £80m for Moises Caicedo from an unnamed club. Could it be? Surely not.

Unfortunately, Manchester City are 'ironing out the details' on a deal for Josko Gvardiol, says Fabrizio Romano. The one-time Liverpool target's move to the Etihad had been, at least partly, held up by Liverpool's deal with RB Leipzig for Dominik Szboszlai. Read more on that here.

And finally, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may have found a new club! The ex-Liverpool man has met with the Besiktas president in London, according to Sky Sports.
