Liverpool transfer news roundup: Andre latest, Gravenberch uncertainty, Salah confirmation

The walls are closing in. Deadline Day is almost here. The transfer rumours are still coming thick and fast though. Strap in.

First to Andre Trindade. Remember when Anfield Watch reported that a summer deal was unlikely because of Fluminense's Copa Libertadores run? Well, that's still true.

Globo Esporte now say that Fluminense have rejected a €30m (£25.5m) offer from the Reds before it was even committed to paper. Read more on that here.

Meanwhile, Brazilian journalist Emmanuel Luiz told RedmenTV that the player knocked back Manchester United interest and has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool. Could a January deal be on?

Ryan Gravenberch faces an uncertain future (does anyone face a certain future?) according to The Athletic's Raphael Honigstein. The Liverpool target remains open to a move away from Bayern Munich this summer.

However, Neil Jones says Bayern have not given Liverpool any encouragement over a deal.

Elsewhere, Manu Kone is back in the (Liverpool-based) news. David Lynch claims the Gladbach midfielder is still an option late in the window.

However, the Gladbach director Roland Virkus has told Bild that only an 'immense offer' will force them to sell the 22-year-old Frenchman this summer. £10m + Nat Phillips sound good?

Fabrizio Romano has shot down talk of a Kalvin Phillips swoop (shock), saying there is nothing concrete or advanced in the links.

From potential incomings to outgoings, then. Young left back Luke Chambers is still a loan option for Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen, according to Bild.

Neil Jones has said academy prospect Jarell Quansah is likely to be loaned out before the end of the window.

And completing a trio of potential loanees, Marcelo Pitaluga has said a temporary switch this year is 'one possibility', while speaking to liverpoolfc.com.

Finally, just in case you needed any more reassurance, Fabrizio Romano has claimed Mohamed Salah is 'untouchable' this summer, despite the tedious Saudi links.
