Massive Rodrygo move could SEAL Mo Salah's fate
An enormous transfer could be what seals Mo Salah's fate. The Liverpool star is out of contract this summer.
The clock continues to click on Mo Salah's future at Liverpool. His deal will expire at the end of June and we're yet to hear anything about an imminent renewal.

The longer this all goes on, the less likely it seems that Salah will remain at Anfield beyond the end of this season especially as some large sharks are swimming around. In fact, Salah can freely negotiate with non-English sides right now.
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in snapping him up, while there's certainly interest from Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Pro League attempted to sign Salah back in 2023, of course.
Al-Hilal lead the charge. They'd just allowed Neymar to end his contract early and return to Brazil, leaving them on the hunt for a new superstar.
Their involvement in the Club World Cup leaves them eager to sign that superstar, too. And it could be Salah.
But he's not the only option.
Mo Salah to Al-Hilal
Globo in Brazil reports that Al-Hilal would like to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid in order to fill the Neymar void. They're even looking at Vinicius Jr in what would be an enormous deal with Los Blancos.
It would also end almost any chance of them signing Salah. That would be two forwards, two superstars, and little need to push for the Egyptian on top.
While it wouldn't rule out a move to a different Saudi Pro League team, there aren't many linked with Salah at the same level. In turn, a lack of Saudi suitors would deplete the Liverpool star's negotiating power dramatically.
And that makes him a lot more likely to re-sign with the Reds. Maybe PSG could still be a big threat but we can't imagine they'd be offering too much more than Liverpool right now.
Maybe we're wrong on that, but Al-Hilal moving for Rodrygo seal Salah's future at Liverpool. His massive payday wouldn't be there and the Reds would once again have the bargaining power.
A lot of moving parts here but we'll see what happens.
