Liverpool feel NO regrets for controversial transfer decision
Liverpool are reportedly convinced over a controversial transfer decision. Not all fans are agreeing with this one, though.
Liverpool transfer news today: Agent CONFIRMS offer as wonderkid deal moves closer
Liverpool signed zero players in the January transfer window, much to the dismay of many fans. After all, this is a team without a reliable centre-forward.

Diogo Jota just can't stay fit. Out of 23 Premier League fixtures this season, Jota's minutes total the equivalent of seven. Under one-third of the total game-time available in the league this season.
The other recognised striker, Darwin Nunez, is unreliable for other reasons. Nunez plays regularly and works hard - he just can't score goals with any consistency.
That, of course, has been the Nunez experience since his arrival. A player who delivers pretty much everything except consistency.
And so with Liverpool sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League, and having been near-perfect in the UEFA Champions League, there was a sense that a top striker would have cemented the side as the best around. One big transfer would have secured it all.
So why didn't it happen?
Liverpool have no regrets
The Athletic reports that Liverpool have 'no regrets' internally and didn't see any need for reinforcements in the January window. It's a stance that's becoming increasingly common at Anfield.
And so it won't be a shock to anyone that Liverpool feel this way. But this is the same club that opted not to sign an extra centre-back in 2020, leaving them short for the season and crippling a title-challenging team.
The same could happen here. An injury to Nunez, coupled with Jota's inability to remain available, would leave Liverpool incredibly short. Winning any trophies would suddenly be remarkably difficult.
So it does feel as though Liverpool are riding their luck a bit here. If it pays off and the trophies arrive, then no one can complain - it will have all worked out.
