Liverpool one step closer to striking MEGA Warren Zaire-Emery agreement
Liverpool are huge admirers of Warren Zaire-Emery and they might have just moved closer to signing him.
For the last two years now, the club has been on the hunt to sign another midfielder in order to bulk up the options in that area.

In the summer of 2023, the Reds failed to sign Moises Caicedo. Meanwhile, last summer it was Martin Zubimendi who ultimately rejected the chance to join the club.
This summer that could be about to change. Liverpool have once again set their sights on signing a midfielder and among the list of options compiled by the club's scouts Warren Zaire-Emery's name is very high on the list.
Anfield Watch revealed exclusively that Liverpool are huge admirers of the midfielder and would be prepared to spend whatever it takes to bring him to the club.

The sensational PSG teenage talent is regarded as one of the best midfielders of his generation and has already broken several records both for his team and in the Champions League.
Liverpool move one step closer to signing Warren Zaire-Emery
Understandably prising Zaire-Emery away from PSG's grasp will not be an easy task for Liverpool. He's very highly valued by the club.
And he's settled and happy in Paris with his girlfriend playing for PSG's women's team. But Zaire-Emery is also open to a new challenge and he's believed to be ready to listen to offers.
As we revealed in our exclusive, he has already held talks with Ibrahima Konate about a move to Liverpool.
Considering his ability to cover a lot of ground on the pitch and his technical qualities, he'd be an ideal fit for Slot's style of play. He'd also be capable of playing alongside Ryan Gravenberch and also covering him when needed.
And while it seems like while at first thought it might have been difficult for Liverpool to get the young teenager but PSG might be more open to selling him than first thought.
In fact the club could already be looking at potential replacements for him.
Florian Plettenberg has reported that PSG have recently made a contract offer to Joshua Kimmich. The Bayern Munich star is available on a free transfer this summer and he is someone who plays in Zaire-Emery's position.

With the likes of Joao Neves and Vitinhia already at the club as well as Desire Doue playing in a more advanced midfield role, it almost feels like Kimmich would be a luxury addition.
That is unless PSG have made a move for him with the knowledge that they are open to selling Zaire-Emery in the summer.
If that is the case then Liverpool have absolutely moved one step closer to getting their desired target.
If PSG are indeed open to selling Zaire-Emery that will make striking an agreement for him a lot easier for Richard Hughes.
