Real Madrid want to take BOTH full-backs from Liverpool
Liverpool are fighting off Real Madrid’s interest in Trent Alexander-Arnold. The 26-year-old right-back is Los Blancos’ primary summer transfer target ahead of his Liverpool contract expiry.
Alexander-Arnold is out of contract in summer 2025 and no agreement has yet been reached with club negotiators over a new deal.

There is significant speculation that the England international could opt to complete a blockbuster free transfer, which could see the homegrown player earn around £400,000 per week as well as take home a sizeable signing-on fee.

Liverpool could well be powerless in the face of Madrid’s offer, meaning they will have to move on from Alexander-Arnold after a near decade in the first team.
But the Anfield club could ALSO be facing a transfer threat from Madrid on the other side of defence.
Liverpool want Kerkez
Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez is firmly established on Liverpool’s radar ahead of a potential summer transfer switch. The 21-year-old has been described in various reports as the club’s priority left-back target.
The Reds are believed to want to add a new left-back as an upgrade with Andy Robertson no longer the force he was and Kostas Tsimikas not good enough to fill the starting role long-term.
However, TEAMtalk is now reporting that Real Madrid have put the Hungary international on their summer recruitment shortlist.

Although the 15-time European champions have got Theo Hernandez in their sights, there are no guarantees the AC Milan left-back will choose them.
That’s because Manchester City are also in the race for the in-demand Hernandez. And, in the case of a failed pursuit of the Frenchman, Madrid are ready to pounce for Kerkez.
Real Madrid rival Reds for Kerkez
Liverpool fans might well have had ambitions to see Trent line up alongside Kerkez one day in Red. However, they could well be frustrated by seeing them lining up in white at the Bernabeu instead.
Madrid have been attempting to upgrade their full-back positions with Dani Carvajal injured long-term on the right and Ferland Mendy under pressure for his position on the left.
The Spanish capital club missed out on signing Alphonso Davies, who opted to sign a new Bayern Munich contract, meaning decision-makers at the Bernabeu have identified options elsewhere.
