Real Madrid make RIDICULOUS Trent Alexander-Arnold excuse
Real Madrid are currently embroiled in a ridiculous phony war on Spanish referees.

Espanyol’s Carlos Romero is a central figure, scoring the winning goal on Saturday night, but Madrid believe he shouldn’t have been on the pitch to score.
He earlier clattered Kylian Mbappe with a 60th-minute foul and Madrid are adamant that he should have been sent off rather than booked.
Madrid took the incredible step of publishing a formal letter criticising officials in the Spanish top flight, accusing LaLiga of systematic bias.
The club also released a video to their social media pages detailing what they described as an escalating “scandal”.
Madrid have lost their minds
Los Blancos’ actions have drawn a response from LaLiga chief Javier Tebas, who remarked in quotes picked up by AP: "They have built up an exaggerated tale of victimization that is completely baseless with, in my opinion, the goal of undermining the competition.
“It is completely over the top. They have lost their minds."
Rival fans in Spain have been left incredulous by their claims, especially considering they are top of the league and wrapped up their 36th league title last season.
But that hasn’t stopped Madrid’s campaign and it now appears that their chase for Trent Alexander-Arnold could be threatened by the episode.
Madrid CONCERNS about Trent
Real Madrid mouthpiece Defensa Central is worried that Trent might see what is happening with referees in LaLiga and decide that he doesn’t fancy a move to the Bernabeu after all.
Under the heading “Concern at Real Madrid” it describes a scenario which could adversely affect their chances of signing the Liverpool man on a free transfer in summer 2025.
“What is of great concern to the club is the lack of seriousness of the refereeing team and the aggression suffered by its players, which could cause players like Trent Alexander-Arnold to change his mind about signing for the Madrid team,” it states.
“Real Madrid have the Englishman tied down, but everything that is happening could influence the full-back, as well as the rest of the objectives that the sporting authorities of the Merengue team are handling.”

That’s quite a climbdown from the claims that Madrid had the signing 98 percent wrapped up only a few weeks ago. It sounds like Madrid might be trying to get their excuses in early in the event that Trent renews at Anfield.
