Liverpool want special forward who is EVEN BETTER than Mo Salah
In Mo Salah Liverpool have perhaps the best player in the world today.
Although the Egyptian King has been repeatedly SNUBBED for individual awards at the end of this calendar year - by FIFA, UEFA and CAF - there is no doubt that he has been the difference maker for Arne Slot’s side this season.

The 32-year-old has scored 16 goals in all competitions this term - including 13 in 14 Premier League matches - helping the Reds to the top of the league table. He has also scored two Champions League goals, including the winner in midweek against Girona.
But it’s not only Salah’s goalscoring prowess making the headlines during his maiden campaign under Slot. Salah’s playmaking has reached new levels with the Egypt international adding an incredible 12 assists to this point.
That total includes a remarkable set-up for Cody Gakpo in the Champions League against Real Madrid a couple of weeks ago.
Will Liverpool sign Marmoush?
Through Salah’s unique combination of scoring and assisting, he is marked out as one of the most formidable attackers in the game. That makes his ongoing contract crisis even more frustrating for Liverpool fans, who would truly love the club to extend his terms beyond the end of this season.
And Liverpool could well sign Salah’s Egyptian colleague Omar Marmoush next summer. Whether that ends up being as a teammate for Salah or a replacement remains to be seen.
There is no doubt however that the Eintracht Frankfurt star - according to the numbers - is the only player in Europe’s top five leagues capable of matching or even eclipsing Salah’s output.
How much will Marmoush cost?
The 25-year-old moved onto 18 goals with his strike in a 3-2 defeat to Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday night - a calm effort across the goalkeeper having been played in behind.
Marmoush also boasts 11 assists in all competitions this term with his total number of goals and assists bettering Salah’s at this stage by one.
What an honour for Egypt to have two of the game’s most dominant attackers at the same time and that is something Reds fans will hope to see replicated next term.
Marmoush is under contract until 2027 at Frankfurt and it is estimated that he will cost around £42 million if he leaves as expected next summer.
