Liverpool consider signing star just one week after VIRAL Mo Salah video
Liverpool are in the market for a Trent Alexander-Arnold replacement and may have found one. Just one week after his viral Mo Salah video, too.
Liverpool are incredibly aware that Trent Alexander-Arnold could leave the club this summer. The right-back is out of contract at the end of June and Real Madrid are eager to sign him.

The fact that it's late April and Alexander-Arnold still hasn't signed is a pretty clear sign that an exit is on the cards. A real spotlight was put on the situation over the last two weeks, too, as both Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk signed new contracts.
It's just Alexander-Arnold, then, who is currently on course to leave the club. That leaves Liverpool in a difficult situation and not only because they've got to replace one of their best players without an incoming transfer fee.
There aren't exactly many options who fit the bill, either. In fact, Liverpool are incredibly fortunate that Conor Bradley does look up to the task - but the Reds won't be willing to put all their eggs in that basket.
A new right-back will arrive if Alexander-Arnold leaves. And a new one may have been found.

Liverpool consider Ola Aina
Caughtoffside claims Liverpool are looking into a deal for Ola Aina. The Nottingham Forest right-back has had a brilliant season in 2024/25, bringing in some interest.
Chelsea are also looking at Aina - he started his career there and could be in line for a homecoming. Though, we also know that the player respects the Reds.
Aina went viral for his reaction when Salah signed his new Liverpool contract. He's clearly a massive fan of the Egyptian - that much is obvious.
What's less obvious is why Liverpool would target Aina. He's now 28 and will turn 29 shortly into next season.
The Reds never sign players in that age bracket. The only one in recent memory was Thiago, and that was Thiago. It's difficult to believe that there's serious interest in a 28-year-old who isn't one of the world's very best.
It's possible that the plan would be for an experienced player in his prime to essentially hold the role until Bradley matures. Even then, we're not sure there's a need for that to be the main plan.

We won't hold our breath on this one, then. Aina just doesn't seem like a Liverpool signing.
