Liverpool given £10m price CUT to make transfer happen
Liverpool have been gifted a price cut for one of their transfer targets. The Reds have a golden opportunity here.
Liverpool are pushing to sign several players in 2025 as Richard Hughes aims to overhaul Arne Slot's squad. That's something they deliberately didn't do last summer, with the Reds sending Slot into his debut campaign with only Federico Chiesa as an addition.

It will be different this time but that carries its own challenges. Liverpool need to keep an eye and negotiate on several deals at once but more importantly, they need to fund them all.
That's not easy when you're looking for top quality in every position. Liverpool could spend £95m purely on Bournemouth players, for instance.
You can't sign elite players at left-back, right-back, centre-back, and centre-forward without spending big. It's just not possible and this could end up being a record-breaking window for the Reds.
What they need, then, is all the help they can get. Some of that has arrived from West Ham United, who are reportedly willing to let one of their stars leave for less.

Mohammed Kudus to Liverpool
Football Insider claims West Ham are willing to drop their asking price for Mohammed Kudus. That's despite the forward having a release clause in his contract.
It means they're willing to do business at £70m and would accept an offer in that range. It may well tempt Liverpool, who hold an interest in Kudus.
In truth, their interest in Kudus dates back some way. The Reds were considering a move back when he was at Ajax and they've kept tabs on the Ghanaian ever since.
But is he someone they should move for this summer?
That we're not so sure on. Kudus is a very talented player and at just 24, he could certainly move up another level or two.
At the same time, he's got three Premier League goals this season and has been difficult to judge in an awful West Ham team. Paying £70m on the back of this season feels like madness, honestly.
Liverpool may have been tempted a year ago but we're not sure it works out this time around. Not with 'just' a £10m price cut, anyway.

If that figure drops further, then maybe a door opens. But we wouldn't hold any breath for now.
