Liverpool WILL move for wonderkid but only on one condition
Liverpool have been linked with several attackers ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is likely to be an off-season of big change around Anfield with Richard Hughes - the sporting director - ready to sanction plenty of outgoing deals in order to fund bids for new players.

We could see the likes of Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez leave the club if the price is right - while there are also question marks over Federico Chiesa and Luis Diaz.

Concerns have also been levelled against the prospect of Mohamed Salah continuing to shine for the Reds. The Egyptian King, 32, is out of contract in summer 2025 and so far no official word has been received over an agreement for a new deal.
It’s believed that Salah would like to remain at the club - where he has spent eight successful years - but his representatives and Liverpool’s decision-makers remain apart on what a new deal would look like.
And if Salah ultimately decides to leave Liverpool then Liverpool will be in the market for a replacement.
Diao deal hinges on Salah
In fact, one deal could hinge on Salah’s choice and it’s important the club get clarity one way or another before it’s too late. That’s because one key target - Assane Diao - is being eyed up by Premier League rivals Manchester United and Newcastle.

In a new report from Caught Offside, it’s claimed that the Reds will make a move for Diao if Salah leaves.
“Liverpool are also considering turning to Diao this summer, but are still waiting for clarification on what will happen with Mohamed Salah’s future,” the report states.
Assane Diao wanted by Liverpool
The 19-year-old currently plays for Serie A side Como under Cesc Fabregas, having joined from Real Betis in January for €12m (£10m).
He signed a four-and-a-half-year contract in Italy, meaning Como are quite well protected should any high-profile suitors come forward with a bid.

Diao got off to a great start in Italy and he currently boast five goals from only 12 Serie A matches. He has netted in games against Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli, emphasising his ability to mix it against the best teams.
A versatile attacker, he has played on the right wing for Como as well as the left and has the characteristics that are sure to appeal to Arne Slot.

Diao, who played for Spain as an underage international, has recently pledged his allegiance to Senegal - the country where he was born.
He has been taken under the wing of Reds icon Sadio Mane, which could be a key factor in making his next move.
