Al-Hilal sources CONFIRM Mo Salah plans
Mohamed Salah’s future at Anfield has never been less certain, but one team’s plans for the Egyptian King have now been revealed.
Three of Liverpool’s biggest stars Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are all out of contract at the end of the season and have been able to negotiate pre-contract agreements with overseas teams since 1 January.

Despite being in arguably the best form of his career, with 31 goals and assists in his opening 19 Premier League matches, Salah’s future is still unknown.
Saudi Arabia has long been touted as the Egyptian’s most likely destination if he were to leave Merseyside and now one Saudi Pro League side’s plans have been revealed.
Al-Hilal want Salah to replace Neymar
The Saudi Pro League is currently topped by Al-Hilal, albeit only because of their goal difference, but Jorge Jesus’ side want to strengthen even further.
According to Shooot, a source from within the club has revealed plans of a move for Salah, with contact already being established between the team and the player’s representatives.
“Al-Hilal's management wants Salah to replace Neymar and participate with the team in the Club World Cup,” the source states. “Jorge Jesus has requested a strong signing to replace Neymar, who has largely fallen out of his plans for the upcoming period.”
The Club World Cup begins on 15 June, over two weeks before Salah’s contract with Liverpool officially expires, and so some sort of agreement would have to be found between the two sides if Salah were to join the reigning Saudi Pro League champions for the entire tournament.
Salah’s position at Liverpool
Although there has been a media frenzy surrounding his future all season, Salah has continued to perform at his best on the pitch for the Reds.
The star has reiterated multiple times that this could be his final season in Merseyside and a new deal for the star doesn’t seem to be close.
Despite this, Salah’s departure hasn’t been officially confirmed, and Liverpool will be keen to keep hold of their key man beyond the end of the season.
Recent reports don’t suggest that this is likely however, with some even stating that Salah’s exit has already been agreed.
The Anfield faithful will remain hopeful that their talisman will remain at Liverpool, leading the club to success for many years to come, but only time will tell what the 32-year-old’s future holds.
