Mo Salah has rejected an INSANE amount to stay at Liverpool
Mo Salah has turned down an absolutely incredible amount of money to remain at Liverpool.
Mo Salah has been one of the three contract situations to dominate Liverpool's off-the-pitch news this season. The Egyptian has been joined in that by Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, of course.

Liverpool are currently at risk of losing all three on free transfers once this season comes to a close. Though, it now appears that Salah and Van Dijk will be staying.
Alexander-Arnold still seems to be on course for Real Madrid but the senior pair are expected to remain with Liverpool. That's certainly the line coming from just about everywhere on Wednesday.
Ultimately, Liverpool have decided that the pair are worth their contracts even with the risk of decline. It's a decision we agree with, too - it's far more likely that Salah and Van Dijk retain their level than the Reds find decent replacements.
Salah has been the most high-profile of the three. That's largely because everyone is aware of the Saudi Arabia offer.
It was there two years ago and it remains - an offer to earn an extravagant amount of money to play in the Saudi Pro League.
Salah has said no. Here's what he's said no to.

Salah's giant Saudi offer
Middle East-based journalist Ismael Mahmoud claims Salah has rejected an annual salary of €150m in order to remain at Liverpool. That's what the Saudi Pro League was willing to offer him in order to play over there.
"But it was never about the money - it was about legacy, continuing to break records, and his deep desire to win the Ballon d’Or," writes Mahmoud.
It's a remarkable thing to do, in all truth. Salah would earn that money tax-free, too - the kind of wealth footballers were unable to get a few years ago.
The Saudi Pro League has changed everything, of course, and Salah clearly isn't driven by money right now. We even imagine there are certain other clubs would could have offered more than what Liverpool are, though nowhere near that Saudi offer.

Salah wants to remain at Liverpool, however, and that's an incredibly special thing.
