Van Dijk’s future looks more secure than the other two but fans won’t relax until the club captained is pictured with that pen in his hand.

Alexander-Arnold has been attracting interest from Real Madrid and the Spanish capital side are expected to offer a contract for next season after failing in an approach to Liverpool.

Salah, meanwhile, would appear to be keen on renewing with Liverpool but so far no deal has been done. He has taken the opportunity on several occasions this season to remind supporters and club owners FSG that his time at the club is running out.

Salah - Saudi deal 'settled'

It’s been eight glorious years for Salah and fans will be hoping it’s not the end with plenty of chapters in his Liverpool story still to be written.

Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a move for the 32-year-old but the most enthusiastic interest appears to be coming from Saudi Arabia.

With Al-Ittihad close to adding Salah last summer - before the Reds rejected a mammoth transfer offer - and Al-Hilal keen to bolster their ranks ahead of the Club World Cup, there are plenty of potential destinations in the Saudi Pro League where Salah could land.

Now it has been claimed in a Spanish report that Salah’s Saudi deal is ALREADY in the bag and that the Egyptian King will be off to the Middle East at the end of the season.

This follows a report from Saudi sources over the weekend claiming that a deal with the league had been wrapped up.

Salah will be the 'major' signing for Saudi Arabia

“The Arabs, even though they have money in abundance, don’t waste it,” a report states in Relevo.

“Just look at how calmly they wait for Salah to run out his contract with Liverpool.

“They remain unfazed by renewal rumors. They have it settled, and he will be the major signing for the next season in Saudi Arabia. The team he ends up playing for is not up to the Egyptian or his agents.

"There, the Ministry of Sports decides, as the owner of the four major clubs in the country.

“The rest compete as best as they can with what they have.”

It’s another huge claim and two reports so close together will terrify Liverpool supporters. No renewal deal has been announced by the club, nor would it appear to be close based on Salah’s own utterings.
