Liverpool could sign £90m Mo Salah replacement NEXT MONTH
Liverpool are facing an impending contract crisis on three fronts with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah all currently due to LEAVE the club next summer.
The high-profile trio all have terms which expire in summer 2025 and so far no breakthrough has been made in discussions over new deals.

Trent, Van Dijk and Salah are all free to negotiate deals with potentially interested overseas clubs in a little over TWO WEEKS. Once January 1, 2025 rolls around, Liverpool will be powerless to prevent arguably their three biggest stars from holding talks over a deal elsewhere.
Salah replacements DISCUSSED
Plenty of names have been linked as potential replacements should the Reds fail to tie down any of their three star names. Castello Lukeba, Nico Schlotterbeck, Levi Colwill and Jarrad Branthwaite are just a few of the names mentioned as Van Dijk successors.
At right-back, meanwhile, if Conor Bradley isn’t trusted with the job long-term in the absence of Trent then Amar Dedic, Vanderson or Jeremie Frimpong could come to Anfield instead.
And while the priority remains getting all three to sign new deals, there have even been discussions over the identity of Salah’s successor on the right wing. Replacing one of the greatest players in the club’s history will be no easy task and sporting director Richard Hughes has got his work cut out in trying to get the right player in.
And although Salah is due to LEAVE next summer, the Reds could actually end up signing his long-term replacement in January.
Liverpool want Kudus
That’s according to the Mirror, which claims Liverpool are ready to test West Ham’s resolve for Mohammed Kudus in the winter market.
Valued at £90m, the Ghana international has experienced a difficult season thus far under Julen Lopetegui at the London Stadium. The 24-year-old has scored only TWICE in the Premier League all season and has also served a three-match ban for a red card picked up against Tottenham.
But there is a potentially world class player in there and the former Ajax star is already well acquainted with John Heitinga, a member of Arne Slot’s Liverpool staff who coached Kudus in Amsterdam.
We also revealed a couple of months ago that Kudus was making DEMANDS of his entourage to sound out a move to Liverpool.
The Reds have been tipped to be challenged for Kudus by Arsenal and Newcastle although it’s claimed that the North East side will have to sell before they buy.
With Bukayo Saka Arsenal’s long-term pick at right wing it remains to be see what kind of job Kudus would end up doing for Mikel Arteta’s corner kick specialists.
A fee of £90m would be a record for Liverpool but replacing Salah might well be one of the most important decisions the club ever has to make.
