Mo Salah won't stay around for Liverpool forever, he might not even stay around beyond this season and the Reds could already be lining up his replacement.
Liverpool transfer latest: £25m bid ready as star opens door for Anfield move
The Egyptian's contract situation is fraught at Anfield. With less than six months left on his current deal it's looking less and less likely that he will agree to a new deal.

It would be a devastating loss for Liverpool. There is simply not a single player in world football who has the ability to replace Salah.
He is one of a kind, the best player in the world by far and away right now.
And at 32 years old, he could probably keep going at the same high level for years to come.
But Liverpool have to be prepared to face the worst, and it seems like the club is already eyeing an ideal replacement.
Why Liverpool have lined up Rayan Cherki as the perfect replacement for Mo Salah
In the January transfer window, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Liverpool were among the clubs looking at Cherki's situation and that they have been long-term admirers of the Frenchman.
Cherki had a move fall through to Borussia Dortmund towards the end of the window which will be music to the ears of Liverpool's recruitment board.
Especially, because of the brilliant form he has been in and the way he has reacted so professionally to the setback.
Cherki has three assists and one goal in his last two games since the transfer deadline, showing a brilliant reaction.
And it's easy to see why Liverpool are interested. January would have been too soon to move for him. But the summer might be the perfect time.
He already has 17 goal contributions in just 27 matches, he's played most of his minutes as a right-winger and he's comfortable with both feet, being very capable of cutting onto his left from the right.
Cherki also thrives in one vs one situations, he may not be as explosive as Salah but he can just as elusive.
And the reality is Liverpool are never going to sign a winger as prolific as the Egyptian. Cherki won't be that player. But Liverpool can sign a no.9 to score goals.
The biggest loss from Salah's departure will be his creativity. He has created the most big chances for Liverpool this season and averages 0.44 assists per 90.
Cherki can fill that creative void. He averages 0.42 assists per 90 and he is brilliant at unlocking defences from the right side.

It simply makes sense and with Romano having already suggested Liverpool are closely monitoring the situation, it would not be a surprise if the Reds are preparing a move for Cherki as the ideal Salah replacement.
