Mo Salah just signed off Darwin Nunez’s exit
Mo Salah essentially confirmed Darwin Nunez's Liverpool exit last week. The Egyptian set the wheels in motion.
Mo Salah finally signed his new Liverpool contract last week, ending a year of speculation over his future. Salah will now remain at Anfield for the next two seasons.

And who knows? Maybe he'll even stay longer than that.
There's talk that Salah feels he can play at the top level for three more seasons. Don't be surprised if we're going through this all over again in 2026/27.
The Egyptian left many upset with his decision, though. And not just those forced to face him again next season and beyond.
Salah had his suitors, particularly from Saudi Arabia. They've long dreamed of the Liverpool star moving there and reports claim he had some gigantic offers to leave Anfield and move there.
He said no, however - and that could have consequences for Darwin Nunez.

Darwin Nunez's Saudi Arabia dream
Al-Hilal were one of those hoping to sign Salah. They actually wanted to sign him 'early' and in time for the Club World Cup this summer.
It's a story similar to Trent Alexander-Arnold and Real Madrid, actually. That tournament has them negotiating for early releases of players once the season is done.
Al-Hilal won't get their wish, though. Salah is staying and they'll need to look elsewhere for their Neymar replacement ahead of the Club World Cup.
Well, that could be Darwin Nunez. Anfield Watch exclusively revealed back in January that Al-Hilal made a massive offer for Nunez, only for Liverpool to reject it.
The Reds weren't willing to let Nunez go mid-season - and with Diogo Jota's injury record being what it is - unless £85m was on the table. Al-Hilal wouldn't go past £70m.
Liverpool won't have the same concerns post-season, however. It's fully expected that Al-Hilal will be back for Nunez and a similar offer (maybe even slightly less) would get a deal done.
Things might have changed if Salah was willing to join Al-Hilal but that one's now off. Instead, there's little standing in Nunez's path to Saudi Arabia this summer.
