With less than six months remaining on his contract, Salah’s future is shrouded in uncertainty, and there isn’t long left for the forward to make his decision.
Saudi Arabia seems to be the most likely destination if Salah does leave Liverpool and Al-Hilal, who are top of list for his signature, have just received a huge boost.
Liverpool say yes to Al-Hilal’s request
Although Salah’s contract does not expire until the end of June, it is well known that the reigning Saudi Pro League champions want to add the Anfield talisman to their ranks before the start of the Club World Cup on 15 June.
For this plan to play out the two clubs would have to come to some agreement over the early termination of Salah’s contract and now GIVEMESPORT are reporting that a compromise has already been made.
According to the report, Al-Hilal have already made contact with Liverpool who have decided that they will release Salah from his contract early for free if he agrees to join the Riyadh based club.
Salah’s mind is not yet made up however, and the report also details that officials at Anfield remain optimistic that Salah will extend his stay in Merseyside.

What does Mo Salah’s future hold?
Salah is one of three key players that could leave the Reds for free in the summer alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk.
Although the club are reportedly locked into negotiations with all three stars, the end of their contracts is fast approaching, and it is becoming a bigger possibility that the trio will leave.
Salah doesn’t just have suitors in Saudi Arabia, with PSG also reportedly keen on bringing the former Roma man in this summer.

The Egyptian isn’t short of potential landing spots if he does leave Liverpool, and his fine form on the pitch will ensure this stays the case, but it certainly looks like if the Reds are set to lose Salah it could happen even sooner than his contract's expiry date.
