Milos Kerkez shares EMOTIONAL message after Liverpool title win
Dominik Szoboszlai on Sunday became the first EVER Hungarian player to win the Premier League title.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been a vital cog in Arne Slot’s Liverpool machine - who have now won their 20th top-flight crown.

It’s also been speculated that the Liverpool No8 could be deployed as a chief recruiter ahead of the summer with Milos Kerkez in the sights of the Reds.

Kerkez is an international colleague of Szoboszlai and the two are known to enjoy a close relationship - often popping up together in shared social media posts.
Not only that but the 21-year-old left-back is well-acquainted with Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes.
Kerkez congratulates Szoboszlai
Kerkez was transferred by AZ to Bournemouth back in 2023 for around £15 million and it was the Cherries’ then-technical director Hughes who brought him to the club.
Now the Reds’ executive has been tipped to repeat the trick with Bournemouth said to be willing to do business for around £45m.
The defender showed on Sunday that he was paying attention as Liverpool marched to the Premier League title.
A 5-1 defeat of Tottenham at Anfield was enough for Arne Slot’s side to wrap up the league title and Kerkez was in congratulatory mood following the game.
Alongside an image of Kerkez and Szoboszlai in Hungary colours, he wrote: “You deserve it my friend, love” on X.
And that encouraged plenty of Liverpool fans to jump into the comments and attempt to persuade Kerkez to join Liverpool this summer.
Kerkez high on Liverpool list
The Reds are not the only team chasing Kerkez - with Real Madrid also said to be among the candidates. Liverpool are looking for a long-term successor to Andy Robertson, who has turned 31, and is out of contract in 2026.
The Scot currently has Kostas Tsimikas for competition and back-up but it looks like Hughes is ready to ring in the changes at left-back.

Given that Kerkez is familiar to both Liverpool’s playing staff and front office, it could place him at the head of the queue for an Anfield arrival this off-season.
