Liverpool Transfer News: Reds move one step closer to signing Milos Kerkez
Liverpool intend to sign a left-back in the near future and one of the club's primary targets is Milos Kerkez.
Anfield Watch exclusively revealed back in November that the Reds have already held talks with the Hungarian international's representatives over a potential move.

Kerkez is highly rated at Anfield with Richard Hughes a great admirer having brought him to the Premier League in the first place while he was working at Bournemouth.
The 21-year-old is viewed as the perfect long-term replacement for Andy Robertson, and someone who is well suited to play Arne Slot's style of football.
Liverpool move one step closer to signing Milos Kerkez
Now it seems the Reds have moved a step closer to completing the Hungarian's transfer with Bournemouth edging closer to bringing in a replacement for Kerkez.
Argentinian reporter Uriel Lugt claims Bournemouth have entered formal negotiations with Lanus over the signing of Julio Soler, a young left back who they intend to recruit in the January window.
This could have significant ramifications for Liverpool and Kerkez.
Liverpool's plans has always been to recruit a left-back in the summer transfer window. However, the club will be aware of serious interest from Manchester United, who Anfield Watch understands are also pushing to sign Kerkez.
This could force Liverpool's hands and the Reds could try to bring in Kerkez in the January transfer window if interest in the Hungarian intensified.
Just like they have done in the past with the likes of Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz, who were both viewed as summer targets but Liverpool were forced to act when Man United and Tottenham made a move to sign them.
Considering Bournemouth are now actively working on a replacement for Kerkez for the January window, it's fair to say Liverpool have moved a step closer to getting their man.
But there's still plenty of steps ahead before a deal can be fully finalised.
