Liverpool's striker hunt is down to just THREE targets
Liverpool’s search for a new striker has been well documented.
Despite sitting 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League with only six games to go, the Reds are looking to add more fire power this summer.

A long list of forwards have been linked with an Anfield switch over the last 12 months, but as the transfer window approaches that long list is starting to get shorter.
Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards will no doubt be putting in vital hours analysing every potential target and the list of genuine targets is gradually being whittled down.
Now, another target can be crossed off Liverpool’s list according to the most recent report.
Striker’s attitude issues puts Liverpool move in doubt
Matheus Cunha has been a standout performer in the Premier League this season for Wolves, and as such has been linked with a move to a number of top clubs.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal have been repeatedly linked with the Brazilian, but according to a new report from TBR Football the 25-year-old’s recent behaviour has raised concerns with the Reds’ recruitment team.

The forward is fresh off of a four-match ban following an altercation with Liverpool target Milos Kerkez in the FA Cup.
That four-match suspension follows a two-match ban he received earlier in the season for an altercation following a match against Ipswich Town.
The report claims that both Liverpool and Arsenal are now sceptical about meeting the forward’s £63 million release clause.
Liverpool’s striker shortlist
Alexander Isak is the biggest name being linked with a move to Arne Slot’s side this summer. Liverpool’s interest in the Swede is believed to be genuine, but Newcastle’s reluctance to sell will make a deal difficult.
Hugo Ekitike is another genuine option. Anfield Watch revealed earlier this month that the club had entered talks to sign the Frenchman, who has 30 goal involvements for Eintracht Frankfurt this campaign.
Liam Delap also remains of interest to Liverpool. The Ipswich striker will reportedly have a release clause of just £30m if his side are relegated come May, and Liverpool will be in the hunt for his signature.
Joao Pedro was heavily linked with a Merseyside move, but Brighton’s asking price of around £100m has changed things. Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres have also been touted this season, but reports linking either of the pair to Anfield have gone quiet in recent weeks.
Now, Liverpool’s doubts over Cunha’s behaviour and conduct could be enough to rule him out of the reckoning to be the Reds’ next striker.

Isak, Ekitike and Delap seem to be the only genuine options for Liverpool at this stage, but there is plenty of time for that all to change before the transfer window opens in the summer.
