Liverpool set to make MASSIVE Luis Diaz mistake
Liverpool haven’t made many mistakes this season, and the Premier League title is within reach.
Arne Slot’s maiden campaign has been nothing short of spectacular, but a momentous summer is on the horizon.

A number of high-profile exits are expected at Anfield, as exclusively revealed by Anfield Watch, but Richard Hughes and Arne Slot may have written off one Red too early.
Luis Diaz has struggled at times this season, despite an excellent start in which the Colombian scored five goals in his opening five Premier League games.
The 28-year-old’s performance against West Ham on Sunday offered a glimpse at just what he can offer to Liverpool, and his time at Anfield might not be over just yet.
Multiple teams want Luis Diaz
As the South American enters the final two years of his deal in Merseyside, there are plenty of teams reportedly interested in a summer move.
Barcelona are the longest-linked suitor, although interest may have cooled since January, and a number of Saudi Pro League teams are also circling.
Liverpool’s asking price for the former Porto man isn’t yet known, but a fee of up to €70 million has been reported.

Such a fee would mark a decent profit on the €53m Liverpool paid in 2022.
Although Diaz has struggled to find consistent form, Slot never appears to have lost faith in the Colombian. Only Mohamed Salah has made more than Diaz’s 45 appearances for the Reds this season.
Selling Diaz would be a big mistake
Although the writing seems to be on the wall for Liverpool’s no.7, Sunday’s performance against West Ham showed exactly why selling Diaz could be a huge error.
The 28-year-old had the most touches in the opposition box, the most shots, completed 100% of his dribbles, created two chances and recovered the ball four times.
Diaz also scored his 11th league goal of the season, calmly finishing from a few yards out after a sensational pass from Salah.
It was a complete performance from the Colombian, offering loads for Slot’s side going forward whilst also helping Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson in defence.
Liverpool only managed to find the net again in the dying moments of the game and Diaz's contributions should not be overlooked.

Slot and Hughes may have already made their minds up on Diaz, but if he has more performances like Sunday’s in the locker then selling the Colombian could be a big mistake.
